National Aviation Academy trains aviation maintenance professionals. Our aviation maintenance education is an FAA Part 147 accredited program for students wanting an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification. Students receive qualified instruction from licensed A&P instructors who teach real world experience.
With today's sophisticated aircraft, technicians with both mechanical and electrical education are in high demand. NAA offers a 14 month Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) course and a 7 month Avionics Technology (AVT) program. When paired together students will attend NAA for 21 months and receive instruction in aviation maintenance and avionics. This program is called the Aviation Maintenance Professional (AMP) program.
At NAA students learn about aviation through 3 primary modes; classroom instruction accompanied by text and work book review, team oriented projects in a laboratory setting which simulate on the job skills, and real world experience working on aircraft at our hangar facilities.
The campus is located in Concord, MA, just off of MA-2 W/Cambridge Turnpike. It is approximately 35 minutes from Boston.
